The Bully Question Answered

Hello! I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "Carroll, I thought you were going to post all "Glass" subject matter over at your other blog?" Well, yeah, basically, but, I still want to try and keep bully related material here when it has something to do specifically with the bullies. The issue with Amanda Nelson wasn't really a direct "bully" occurrence. Anyhow, this is a very important post I think to clear the air about the bully issue.

So I'm trolling some Amazon forums and I stumble upon an interesting post or comment. It's actually a question asked by one of the bullies who is known (for now) as "deleted". This is great! This gives me a chance to explain what makes up a bully. I hope the bullies are paying attention and I hope the rest of you are too because the Carz is going to explain exactly what makes a bully, a bully.

First, the question by "deleted".

We can see here that "deleted" is trying to figure out why he / she / they are bullies. "Deleted" seems to think that a bad review or a one star on a book is bullying. Well, it isn't, provided it's an honest review / rating. You have to read the book to rate and review it honestly.

Anyhow, here is what makes a bully, a bully. (Pay close attention "deleted".)

Let's say I'm a Goodreads author and some girl just left me a harsh review for my book. Let's say my book was about robots but the girl never mentions this in her review. For whatever reason, the girl thinks the robots are real people. So in the review, the girl says something like, "real people do not act this way."

Okay, now the author (me) comes in and reads this review. My thought is, "she thinks the robots are real people, this is why she didn't like the story." So I, the author, leaves a comment explaining to to the girl that they are not real people, they are robots.

The girl throws a hissy fit. How dare the author (Me) comment on MY (HER) REVIEW?! Authors need to learn their place. And how dare he (Me) (the author) correct the reader?

Perhaps the girl and I get into a little debate or maybe, even a scuff. Then it goes quiet for about a day. Then out of nowhere, fifty insulting comments appear on the review. Other reviews appear as well, all of them attacking the "authors behavior". A flurry of carpet bombs occur. One stars across the board. And not just there on Goodreads, but these people go to Amazon and any other place the book can be found and they rip it to shreds there too. Then they go to all of their social sites and start leaving links all over the internet.

Fake ratings. Fake reviews. personal insults. The whole works. This is bullying. Let me say that one more time, THIS IS BULLYING!!!!!!!

Bullying is nothing more than purposely going after someone (mainly an author) for no other reason than people trying to be "behavior police". Even if the author deserves it because the author and the girl got into some kind of disagreement over something, it still remains a situation that should be between that girl and that author, and no other person has the right to get into "their" dispute. The girl has no right to contact her friends and her friends have no right to "go after" said author.

You see, this is where it gets confusing for the bullies. They don't understand that it's bullying when you write that fake review and talk about YOUR OPINION regarding the author in a book review. It's bullying when you and ten or more of your friends go into the authors space and start harassing them and insulting them.

Maybe it's frowned upon for authors to respond to reviews and such, but you do not make anything better, or teach anyone a lesson, by bullying them. You just show your ass is all.

It's just like that article by Brenna Clarke Gray on Book Riot, who is she to advise anyone on anything? Especially trying to advise authors? My advice to authors is do and say what you feel inspired to do and say, but people like Brenna Clarke Gray and Amanda Nelson (both of Book Riot) advise authors to keep their mouth shut or else be visited by their friends where a carpet bomb frenzy and "character assassination" shall begin on your author ass. Yes, they warn you that if you say anything to the reviewer, you will be subjected to a bully attack.

And even if Dylan Saccoccio was rude and mouthing off to a reviewer, it still did not warrant others to go in and start carpet bombing his book(s) and assassinate his character, or go after him in any way, shape, or form. The issue was between him and the reviewer, and perhaps the Goodreads staff. It was of no business to anybody else yet others took it upon themselves to make it their business and attack Dylan further. That is bullying. Let me say that again.

THAT IS BULLYING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moonlight Reader doesn't get it.

No, you are wrong, Moonlight Reader. You are way off. Bullying is when you and your friends play "behavior police" with others. (Mainly authors.) It's when you stick your nose into other people's business and conflicts when you really shouldn't. It's when you review a book you never read. It's when you rate a book you never read. It's when you carpet bomb books you never read. It's when you use the "book review" space to call an author a rapist or something. It's when one of your friends comes to you asking you to help gang up on an author who dared responded to a review and YOU and others go to that author and start throwing around the insults. That's when it's bullying.

Karlyn is way off base too.

It is not the Anne Rice effect. She has nothing to do with it. You people were bullying long before she came onto the scene. She is just like you, a bully in her own right. Only she (and Paro) goes into your spaces and bullies you. I am against that, but what you GR bullies do is go from author to author judging their behavior, getting involved with spats that you needn't be involved with. That - and everything I mentioned earlier, is what makes you a bully. Plain and simple.

(And let's clear the air right now, there are two types of bullies now. 1) The GR bullies and 2) The STGRB bullies.)

If you think you have the right to judge others then you best damn well know that others have the right to judge you in return. If you can't take it because you're too thin skinned then maybe you shouldn't be in the bullying business. Just saying.

Anyhow, "deleted", there is your answer. Bullying is not when you say in a book review, "I don't like this book" ... Bullying is when you say in a book review, "I don't like this author. He or she sucks. Their behavior is less than desirable." - That is bullying.

Are you getting this? Do you understand? Probably not, but at least I tried.

I know you bullies continue to attempt to deflect YOUR behavior from the equation, but rest assured, I will not. I will continue to remind everyone what being a bully really is. Even if you're too stupid to get it, there are plenty of others who get it just fine.

Are The Amazon Bullies Eternal?

I think I just had an epiphany. A recent comment made by "Deltaforce 12" on STGRB has hit me like a ton bricks dropped from a passing aircraft overhead.

The comment deals with why these Amazon trolls are doing what they're doing on the Amazon Forum Boards and Goodreads. I have to confess, while I may have heard this said before, never did it strike me in the manner of which "Deltaforce 12" has explained it. The way "Delta" puts it, is that basically, the trolls and bullies are eternal. Their activities will NEVER stop. No matter what we say, or what we do, or how many people get involved in the fight against these bullies, the war will never end. And why will it never end? Well, read the comment yourself and let's see if you can see what I saw.

Did you see it?

According to this comment by "Deltaforce 12", the reason this bullying, and attacking of authors is going on is because Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, is allowing it to go on with his permission. In fact, according to "Deltaforce", Jeff Bezos is the true ring-leader.

If what "Deltaforce" says is true, and I have no reason to doubt it as it makes perfect sense, then what does this mean about the efforts of so many who are trying to end this kind of behavior or practice? I mean, if it's really all in the hands of Jeff Bezos, then this means he would be the only one who could stop it. Period!

And while Anne Rice has gotten involved to help spread the word, my question is, what if the word is already spread?

It seems to me that the word is already out there. I believe many more people are aware of what is going on by now than what we might think. If this is the case, then why won't this bullying just stop already?

I'm already at the point where I believe a majority of book readers are already aware, to some degree, about the bullies. Those outside the book reading community may or may not be aware as much. Maybe because they probably don't care. They're not readers. They're not writers. It's like, do I care about the bullying going on in the online gaming community? I mean, I have a friend in real life who is a die hard gamer, and he is all the time telling me about the bullying going on in that community, but I just grin and shake my head. In truth, I'm not in that community so to be brutally honest, I don't care.

But we are talking about the book community here.

Then "Johnny" from STGRB leaves a pretty good response for "Deltaforce".

He brings up a good point here. It's not just indie authors getting trashed by the bullies. Well known, well established authors are getting targeted too. So this is kind of like a monkey wrench in the machine.

Still, I can't discount "Delta's" explanation. Seeing how I think we have reached about as many people as we can, and the fact that now Anne Rice is involved, maybe there is no more people to reach. Maybe this is as far as we are going to go with it. And as we stand at the end of the road, we see a sign that reads, "Bullies are eternal".

Maybe the best we can do is the place where we are right now. An email I recently received from Anne Rice also assisted me in getting to this epiphany. Or at the very least, supported the epiphany that "Delta's" comments led me to.

The epiphany is this: Internet bullying is never going to stop. At least, maybe not in my lifetime. Our lifetime. Maybe not until the world finds a way to eliminate the dreaded "anon". Perhaps only when we reach the point where technology allows us / forces us to sign in under our true identities, will cyber bullying ever stop. Even then, I believe there are plenty of people out there who wouldn't mind using their real identities to bully someone. Probably because, if we listen to the bullies themselves when they say, what they are doing isn't bullying, then reason suggests that ultimately, it never will truly stop. There will always be those who will go to their death beds claiming that what they are doing is not bullying. The reason for this is; they actually have convinced themselves that they have every right to attack authors on a personal basis. That posting fake ratings / carpet bombing, or writing fake reviews of books they never read or attacking authors is actually legitimate. That lying is some kind of constitutional right they were born with. And until these people face the truth about the shame of lying, they will never have / feel any such shame in their actions. None! And that to me is a mental / emotional issue that if goes untreated, can never be cured.

So no matter what we do now, no matter how many more people we spread the word to, no matter how many Anne Rice's of the world join in to try and help, the bottom line remains the same, that Jeff Bezos is the only one who can probably truly stop this kind of bad behavior on Amazon.

This leads me to think that perhaps only after Jeff Bezos passes away, and somebody else takes over Amazon and changes it, that these bullies will continue with their horrid activities. There will always be a new young and up and coming bully to take the place of a previous old timer bully. It's just the circle of life.

"Deltaforce" concludes with this comment.

The dreaded "bottom" line.

If Jeff Bezos is benefiting financially from allowing this bad behavior to take place on the Amazon Forum Boards, then it never will stop. And if Jeff's successor continues to benefit financially from it, they won't lift a finger to stop it either. The only chance outside of Bezos and or his successor is if the government steps in and passes laws that eventually puts an end to this adolescent behavior by the bullies.

This is disturbing.

So this is where we are. This is the end of the road. And this is me standing before the sign that reads, "Bullies are eternal". I stand there dumbfounded and scratching my head. I take a look around at the nothingness surrounding me. I breathe in a heavy sigh of frustration.

"Son of a bitch!"

Amazon: The Clock Is Ticking

A couple months or so ago I went to the Amazon Facebook page and left them a one star review. I'm not sure why I did it. I guess my frustrations regarding their "review policy" on their Kindle Forum Boards finally wore on me. Sometimes, you just have to say your peace, and get it out. Well, much to my surprise, I got a response from them, someone by the name of Chey. Check it out.

As you can see, I have yet to get another response.

As I have reported last month, Amazon Kindle Boards Alexa rankings have plummeted in recent months. Over 190,000 spots. That's a lot for a site such as theirs. Perhaps this is the reason why a few months ago, there was talk on the forum about Amazon considering to get rid of the forum. It could have just been idle talk on their part, you know, say you're thinking about taking the forum down and then word gets out and everybody starts to panic a little and people come back to the forum in hopes by participating more, they will reconsider.

I also attributed their falling numbers to the fact that real readers don't want to risk having to deal with the bullies and trolls lurking on the forum. Just like with the Goodreads decline. It doesn't matter if you have 20 million members when only a few hundred thousand are participating.

These bullies/trolls are like cockroaches. Once they infest your house, it is hard to get rid of them, but if you act swiftly in the beginning, you have a good chance to clean house. Amazon and Goodreads failed to do that and instead, actually endorsed it. Once cockroaches get out of control, the only way to get rid of them is to take down the house, burn it. Burn it all. Then maybe rebuild.

But the fault isn't just in the roaches, it's sits on the shoulders of those who looked the other way when they showed their little heads. When you operate with inconsistency in upholding your own rules, and ToS like Goodreads and Amazon, this is what eventually happens. When you don't have any morality to stand on, people are quick to notice. And when you constantly remove legitimate reviews and allow known fake reviews to stand, you send the wrong message to your customers. Such is the case with this next screenshot. A review written by one of the bullies/trolls that clearly violates Amazon Fora review policy by mentioning another book in the review yet, despite this review being flagged repeatedly, it remains as of this writing.

Here is a shot of their review policy.

Actual proof of why Amazon Kindle Forum Boards is failing.

So if when Amazon actually does decide to take down the Forum, it would be easy to blame the bullies/trolls. It would be a lot easier though to just blame those in charge for allowing the cockroaches to take over their house in the first place. After all, these roaches are filled with a nasty disease called hate. And let's face it, hate loses every time.

If Amazon doesn't learn this lesson, then how long before we see them pull the plug on Goodreads? I mean, the very same thing is happening there too. The clock is ticking.

Amazon Speed Stalking

Author Rick Carufel stumbled onto something very interesting about Amazon and stalking that I think you all need to look at it. I'm leaving a link to his report which can be found on the website, "Before It's News". I hope you all will read it. It's quite revealing, and shows how easy it is for people to stalk authors. (Mostly Indie authors) Good job Rick!

Goodreads/Amazon Deceptive Practices

Recently, STGRB did a report on Goodreads Review Fraud where they showed how Goodreads was deceptive in their practices where ratings and reviews are concerned. Part of what STGRB says is that Goodreads fails to post a disclaimer to their customers warning them that some ratings and reviews on books are fraudulent, fake, and misleading. A disclaimer that is apparently required by law, as is explained here. FTC Statement On Deception.

The situation appears to be escalating as is evidenced by this warning I received from a source.

Clearly, a warning to me and others who are covering this story. Apparently, Amazon / Goodreads is fighting back to stop this information of their unlawful practices from getting out to the public. What they (Amazon and Goodreads) fail to understand is that this information is already out there for the public to learn and will continue to reach the public once the criminal charges are filed against them, leading the way for the class action law suit to be filed shortly thereafter by the many authors who have been violated by Goodreads actions of not addressing the bully situation and the harm left behind those attacks.

This is not an issue that Amazon and Goodreads can just "sweep" under the carpet like they did with the sexual role play scandal between adults and minors. There are more eyes upon them than what they can even fathom at this point and time. The long time practices by Goodreads to misinform the public about the fraudulent ratings and reviews that run rampant on their website is coming to an end very soon.

One good example of this practice is seen here in the next screenshot where I will show you Goodreads Top 100 Reviewers For The Week where you will notice that J Eddy "reviewed" 392 "books" for a "week". (And others who claim to have reviewed 100 or more books for a week)

Really? Are you trying to sell me on one person reading 392 books in one week? .... Really?

Okay then, let's do the math. Since there are only seven days in a week, that gives us 168 hours for the whole entire week. In order to read 392 books, this J Eddy would have had to read over 2 books an hour without sleep.

Are we getting the picture here?

So, what does this tell us? Other than J Eddy being one hell of a fast reader, could this be the deception in book reviews that Goodreads fails to acknowledge to it's customers?

I think it is.

Another issue that has been mentioned is Goodreads using copyright material on their website that they have no authority to use. The defense is, that any author who sells books on Amazon automatically authorizes Amazon to use that book on any of their affiliated websites. Since they bought Gooodreads, it is now okay for Goodreads to use that copyrighted material. However, in this next screenshot taken from the Goodreads Help Topic, we see something very interesting. Take a look.

Now, as we see from the screenshot above, Goodreads announces that since Amazon bought Goodreads, Goodreads is now legally allowed to use those book cover images. However, is this an admission by Goodreads itself that prior to being bought out by Amazon that they were not allowed to use those covers? Thus, wouldn't this be Goodreads "admitting" that they knowingly posted copyrighted material on their website without the copyright holders permission?

I do believe it is.

Since these are words written and posted by Goodreads on Goodreads, one can safely assume that before Goodreads was bought out by Amazon, Goodreads was indeed violating copyright laws. (Their words, not mine)

Thanks for the confession, Goodreads.

And thanks to my source for warning me of what Amazon / Goodreads may intend to do, which is, to maybe try and shut down STGRB and The Looking Glass, as well as other blogs and websites that go to great lengths to get the truth out to the public about Amazon's and Goodreads' deceptive and illegal practices.

I'm Carroll Bryant .... and this is (was?) The Looking Glass.

Things We Learned Today:

* Goodreads fails to act according with law to post a disclaimer on their site warning customers that ratings and reviews on their website are not accurate or truthful and could be deceptive and fraudulent.

* Ammazon / Goodreads are going to try and silence the truth by attacking websites and blogs that speak of their deceptive practices.

* There's more to this story than meets the eye

* J Eddy is the worlds fastest reader and doesn't need sleep

* J Eddy must be superhuman or a robot

* Amazon and Goodreads are breaking the law, and may be trying to use their lawyers to cover it up and keep this information from getting out to the public

Goodreads Bully Patrick Brown

It has come to my attention that the Goodreads bullies once again, got their way. After their attack on Lauren Howard/Pippa, and wishing her death, rape and sodomy, they then turned their attention on a legitimate book group on Goodreads after one of their members stumbled across the story on lauren and like Lauren, asked a simple question. That was, "Does Goodreads really have bullies?" That group was "Mystery And Crime Thrillers".

Just by asking that question, and the members quietly, and calmly, discussing their opinions among themselves, many of the Goodreads bullies, after catching wind of it, joined the group for no other reason than to start trouble. From my sources, the mods themselves, these bullies used foul language and were extremely rude. Clear violations of how this once peaceful group operated.

When the bullies were warned about their language and behavior, and the rules, repeatedly by the mods, the bullies not only ignored the mods of the group, but fired back at them with more obscenities.

These bullies did not join that group to participate in their book discussions. They went there for one reason and one reason only, to harass the members and mods. To disrupt their peace and harmony and to destroy their group. They invaded these peaceful people's space and tried to take it over.

When they were finally banned from the group for their language and behavior, the bullies vowed to destroy them through their higher up connection on Goodreads. Those connections are paid Goodreads staff members Kara Erickson and Emily Finley.

In my previous post, "Bullies Need Not Apply", I showed you a threat made by .38 Caliber blogger, "Mahala", where she says that all hell will break loose on that group and their mods. She made good on that threat as not only did they attack author Jac Wright, who was one of the mods of the group, but they also attacked a non-author, by the name of Jenni, who was another mod of that group.

Jenni, as it was just reported to me, has been banned from Goodreads completely. Simply because she defended the rules of her group when the bullies invaded their group with nasty language and even worse attitudes.

Now, I just learned that "Mahala", the one behind the hate blog, .38 Caliber, is really Anna Karenina. And as we all know now, thanks to Rick Carufel, that Anna Karenina's real name is Janis Hinkle, a 2nd grade teacher in the Daly City community of California.

Yes, a bully with multiple sock accounts. How many times have heard about this? That these bullies operate under various sock accounts? STGRB has uncovered this kind of thing before with other bullies.

Patrick Brown, you should be ashamed of yourself. So should Kara Erickson and Emily Finley. I will be doing a story on those two shortly. It is already scheduled. I also will doing future stories now on other paid Goodreads employees. I will be giving them all the attention they deserve. But as for Patrick Brown himself, he has proven to the world that he is nothing but a bully himself. A worthless, pussy little coward.

I am calling out for everyone who has a Goodreads account to go in and delete it. Send the message loud and clear that this kind of tolerance for bullying innocent people will no longer be tolerated. Send the message to Patrick Brown and the idiots at Amazon who endorse this kind of cyber-criminal behavior that this kind of thing is not right. Hit them where it hurts, in their membership numbers. Send the message to that other pussy coward, Otis Chandler, that his creation, Goodreads, is no longer a decent place for anyone who loves books.

Don't just abandon your account, delete it! Make that statement! Send that message!

This incident is a clear indication that this issue is not about authors and or reviews. The fact that non-authors are getting banned as well for doing nothing more than trying to preserve the integrity of their book group is atrocious! This incident clearly shows that everyone and anyone is fair game for the bullies.

Word is getting out there though. Jenni and Jac have been in contact with several major news websites and are in the process of deciding to take their story national. You think the publicity that Lauren's story got attention? You ain't seen nothing yet. This story is going to put hers to shame. There will be no way for Patrick Brown to spin this. Nor the bullies. But I'm sure they will try. Oh yes, I am sure they will try with all of their sock puppets too.

Keep digging your hole, Patrick Brown, Otis Chandler, The Goodreads Bullies, Kara Erickson, Emily Finley. Now here is my threat to all of you bullies .... you're going down!

Let the countdown begin ..... 10 - 9 - 8 ..........

I'm Carroll Bryant .... and this is The Looking Glass.

Things We Learned Today:

* This is not about reviews!

* Patrick Brown graduated from bully supporter, to just plain BULLY!

* Goodreads staff members (all of them!) support and endorse bulllying

* Nobody is safe on Goodreads except for the bullies

* Carroll wants everyone to DELETE their Goodreads account

The Attack On Jac Wright

Well, it didn't take the bullies long to make good on their threat. My previous post, "Bullies Need Not Apply" featured a GR book group, "Crime And Mystery Thrillers" that stood up to the bullies. In the post, I showed you a screenshot of .38 Caliber blog where the owner of the hate blog, "Mahala" made a threat at the end of her post and started her countdown.

Well, she and her bully friends finally made it to "blast-off".

They have taken to Amazon (their bully hangout) and started attacking author, Jac Wright, a mod of the group "Mystery And Crime Thrillers" that banned the bullies when they tried to overtake their group with vile language and a nasty attitude. If you go to his Amazon page, you will see this.

Where Anna Karenina, real name Janis Hinkle, the 2nd grade teacher in Daly City, California, not only attacks Jac Wright with comments, but sends a message to Jenni, another mod of the group "Crime And Mystery Thrillers".

You see, it didn't take them long to attack this once peaceful group who did nothing but post a question in it asking if there were bullies on Goodreads. Well, that question is answered now, isn't it? But wait, there's more. "CathyR" says something very telling in this next shot.

Did you see it? She said: "And had all her posts deleted after TPTB (The Power That Be) purged her account."

But who is TPTB? .... Kara Erickson? .... Emily Finley? .... Patrick Brown? .... A GR librarian?

Then Jane says this.

No Jane, you are the cockroaches. You and your bully gang.

If you want to go and see what is going on for yourself, CLICK HERE

Then they went to his author page on Goodreads.

See any familiar names?

You can see it all for yourself if you CLICK HERE

This is what Jac said to me in an email: " My GR Author page is my biggest problem. I have to find a good Librarian who is not part of the bully gang who will connect me to my author page. Yesterday my profile purged out of goodreads.  I have managed to create a new profile because all my books are there.  But they have so far ignored my request to connect to my author page."

Do you see this? They (a Goodreads librarian?) purged his profile out of Goodreads! And for what? Standing up against dirty language and kicking these bullies out of their group when THEY INVADED THE GROUP'S SPACE?

You see, this has absolutely nothing at all to do with reviews! These bullies invaded the space of a peaceful group on Gooodreads and started throwing their shit around and when they got banned for violating the rules of the group, this is what they do for revenge.

THIS IS INTERNET TERRORISM!

Do you now see what I and STGRB have been telling you all along? This whole thing has nothing to do with reading, reviews or anyone going into the spaces of these Goodreads bullies, but rather, them invading everybody's spaces, and attacking them when they are met with resistance. They go where they are not wanted and when they don't get their way, they go to their protectors, Kara Erickson and Emily Finley to hand out their revenge. They just can't let things be. They are nasty little bitches and bastards with absolutely no heart, no soul and no human decency whatsoever!

They have started to now destroy a whole Goodreads book group that was simply minding their own business and doing their own thing. Then came the bullies and now, the destruction. They are worst than Al Qaeda!  (In my book)

Amazon Reputable?

I wasn't going to do this post because STGRB had already done it, posting one of these videos about Amazon. However, recently, on one of my posts, a reader left a comment regarding my position on Amazon, Goodreads and GR community manager, Patrick Brown, endorsing rape, sodomy and the like by way of not deleting these comments on Goodreads unless otherwise forced to do so.

In this readers comment, he (or she) noted (or implied) that Amazon was a "reputable" company. I'll show you the comment below. Check it out.

 And below is my response.

I stand by my post and response because I think that sometimes, evidence isn't always about what someone does, but rather, on occasions, what they don't do. In this case, Patrick Brown fails to do the right thing when the right thing is required. The only time Patrick Brown does the right thing is when he is forced to do the right thing. Period!

Currently, Patrick Brown is, more or less, the "face" of Goodreads. (He and Otis Chandler) So basically, he (they) represent Amazon now that Amazon has bought Goodreads. And by not doing the right thing unless forced to do so, tells me, or indicates to me, that Patrick Brown endorses rape threats and the like.

Let's face it, those nasty comments and threats made to author Lauren Howard would have never been deleted had the support for her not been there. I believe this whole-heartily because he has never before deleted them in the past. But that's because in the past, no victim of his gang of bullies were ever opposed like they were when they attacked Lauren.

Anyhow, this reader in the comment suggested that Amazon was a 'reputable" company. That's only because this reader probably never did his or her research into Amazon. You see, if you do just a little bit of digging, you might find some video's like the two below.

Go ahead and watch them, and you be the judge as to how "reputable" Amazon really is.

Like Patrick Brown, Amazon won't do the right thing unless "pressured" or "forced" to do so.

 You decide.

So, Amazon is a "reputable" company? .... I think otherwise.

I'm Carroll Bryant .... and this is The Looking Glass.

Things We Learned Today:

* Amazon has questionable employee treatment

* Amazon has questionable ethics regarding paying their taxes (This includes in America too)

Amazon, Goodreads, Patrick Brown Endorses Rape?

On my previous post I brought to your attention a statement that Goodreads community manager, Patrick Brown, had said in a KDP newsletter where he talks about the wonderful success an author can potentially have by being a member of Goodreads. Tonight, I am going to show you the success he was talking about. First, a screenshot of what Patrick said as a reminder.

Got it? .... Good.

Author Lauren Howard was just a couple weeks away from releasing her debut novel. But before she could even make that happen, she got a little surprise from the bullies. People who clearly couldn't have been able to read her book started to one star it right from the get-go.

Being new to Goodreads, Lauren committed the ultimate sin, as according to "Bully Nation", she went to the GR Feedback group and asked a question. What was her question? She asked how anyone could rate/review a book that hasn't even been released yet.

What was the response? ... See for yourself.

Notoriously retarded "Dee" and "Jennifer" led the assault with "Dee" suggesting to Lauren that she remove her question only, the notorious retard "Dee" refers to it as a "comment".

The other mentally retarded bully, "Jennifer" suggests that maybe the "reviewer" read the book and didn't like it. Hey, Jennifer, go visit the wizard of Oz and ask for a brain because hint, the book hasn't been released yet. Retard.

Then yet another mentally challenged bully gets into the act. Her name is "Thena".

Hey "Thena", Lauren didn't argue or complain about the review, she merely asked a question in a forum designed to help people navigate and understand Goodreads better. Some help she got.

Now, it just doesn't stop there folks. Lauren was also bombarded with hate comments by these bullies. Comments that wished her dead, (like I was wished dead by them also, most notably, "Mrs. Joseph") and these bullies also wished her to be raped and sodomized!

Nice people we're dealing with, aren't they?

These people (the bullies) are cut from the same cloth. They are all connected to each other. People I have already covered such as Jude Henderson, Ade, Belle, Mrs. Joseph and Shoshana Bick. (Just to name a few)

Apparently, wishing people dead, raped and sodomized is perfectly okay with the bullies, but god forbid if an author rates his or her own book five stars. Take a look.

Fortunately, somebody understands this.

Good call, Victoria, but these bullies feel entitled. They will never understand the irony of their ways.

I don't recall Patrick saying anything in his "Author Guidelines" about an author not being allowed to rate their own books. Yet there are rules in the GR ToS that forbids causing stress to other members, like the bullies enjoy doing. Go figure.

Then again, while we're on the subject of the GR ToS, we already know that the bully staff of Goodreads picks and chooses which rules of the ToS they will enforce. Here is a perfect example of Emily, a bully staff member of Goodreads, picking and choosing which rule of the ToS she is going to enforce. Check it out.

You see, she deletes a rule violation committed by Lauren yet, the hostile comments and threats of rape and sodomy is okay? What gives Emily, Patrick, Goodreads, and Amazon, death wishes and rape and sodomy is perfectly okay to you? .... Evidently so. And no, none of those people who made those threats will be punished for it because these bullies are Emily's and Patrick's friends. Well, most of them are anyway.

Still want to join Goodreads now, authors?

I still find it amusing that Patrick left this little tidbit out of his little KDP newsletter.

As for Lauren, like many other authors who felt as if they may have stepped out of line, even though they did nothing wrong, nor did Lauren do anything wrong, she still made an attempt to apologize on her GR blog. See for yourself.

Did that do any good? ... Nope. Not one bit. They still continue to attack her. Proving yet again that these bullies are the most heartless and evil people on the planet. It makes a Pantheist like myself kind of wish there was a heaven and hell in so that these bullies could answer to god for the damage and hurt they cause so many others in this life.

But which bully was it that started this hate campaign against Lauren in the first place? Well, it was this guy, Derrick, a new name to bully nation. This is what he had to say in his review section of Lauren's book.

And like most of these bullies, Derrick has a private profile. I suppose he is ashamed of himself just enough to know that more people would disapprove of his behavior which is why he and many others will not use their real names or open their profiles up to the public. They can't stand criticism themselves of their work, which is attacking/bullying people. Derrick, like all the rest, are just simply put, cowards. And derrick appears to also hate women.

And yet, I was called a rapist and condemned for it by the bullies and here we have them wishing rape and sodomy on Lauren? Hypocrisy in action. And speaking of hypocrisy, the bullies were attacking Lauren for commenting about their nasty comments, but when she stopped, they attacked her for NOT commenting to their nasty comments. A girl named Holly saw this and gave the bullies an earful about it. Check it out.

You see, no matter how you respond to the bullies, you just can't win. If you respond, you get attacked for it. If you don't respond, you get attacked for it. You simply can't win with them. Hey Patrick, maybe you should address this in your next KDP newsletter!

And yet Derrick continues to open his stupid and hateful little boy mouth. Check it out.

And so does "Reyna's Mom"

Hey, "Reyna's Mom", Lauren didn't comment on a review, she asked a question. Retard.

Lauren then fired back the only way she knew how. Check it out.

So you see, when it comes to wishing people death, or being raped and sodomized, Amazon, Goodreads, and Patrick Brown apparently haven't any problems with that, but as my earlier screenshot showed, they do have a problem with some things, or at least, with things where authors are concerned.

Still want to join Goodreads now?

Well, before you answer that question, take a look at what Patrick also left out of his KDP newsletter. Here is Shoshana Bick (All Hail Grimlock) shelving a book she never read. Lauren's book to be exact.

I guess Shoshana will be buddy, buddy with Satan when she dies. Enjoy Hell, Shoshana, you'll spending eternity there as according to religion. Say hello to Lucifer for me.

And what has all of this success, that Patrick Brown clamors about on his KDP newsletter, that authors can enjoy if they join the "Premium Author" program? Well, this next shot says it all. Take a look.

She decides not to publish her book.

And there you have it, authors. You see, I was correct when I said in my last post that Patrick Brown is a goddamned liar! It's not about reviews! All you need to do to be attacked on Goodreads is to ask the wrong question. So then why didn't Patrick emphasize this in his KDP newsletter?

Goodreads is not author friendly. It is bully friendly. Everybody probably knows this by now. An authors career is not based on commenting on bad reviews, Lauren's situation proves this. She didn't comment on a bad review, all she did was ask a question. And despite this, Patrick Brown's gang of thugs still attacked her and destroyed any career Lauren might have had. More importantly, they also destroyed her dreams. And they did this by bullying her. They did this by terrorizing her like a .... like a .... terrorist? ... Yes! I said it again, these people are more than just bullies, they are internet terrorists! They are no better than Al Qaeda in my book.

But even more frightening than that, is the thought that Patrick Brown, Goodreads, and Amazon endorse death wished upon authors on their site and ... rape and sodomy threats on their site. The fact that staff bullies like Emily would delete violations of authors and yet not bother themselves with horrific threats such as those is mind boggling to say the least. It makes this man wonder if indeed they do endorse that kind of thing on Goodreads.

The evidence appears to back this notion up.

I'm Carroll Bryant .... and this is The Looking Glass.

Things We Learned Today:

* Amazon, Goodreads, Patrick Brown and bully staff member, Emily, appear to endorse death wishes and threats of rape and sodomy.

 * Goodreads is still not a good place for authors

* Goodreads flat out isn't a good place for anyone (except apparently, for the bullies)

Goodreads Author Program: KDP Select

In a recent KDP newsletter, Goodreads community manager, Patrick Brown, had this to say.

I understand that Patrick is required to boast about the product he represents, that product being Goodreads, even if it means he has to outright lie, and or simply refuse to mention some things. By lying, and posting misinformation about the Goodreads Author Program however, should be a crime. Most in part because while he is luring new and unsuspecting authors to Goodreads, he fails to mention that Goodreads will probably ruin an authors career more than enhance it. He fails to mention anything about the bullies he allows to roam freely on Gooodreads to attack authors without rhyme or reason and with extreme prejudice.

He also fails to mention that he, Patrick Brown, protects these vile people.

Interestingly enough, in the Goodreads author guidelines, it is mentioned that authors should not respond to bad reviews in order to not be attacked by his gang of thugs. Take a look at this excerpt from those guidelines:

Notice that he associates authors complaining about bad reviews to the bullies "destroying" authors reputations.

First of all, an authors reputation shouldn't have to be "destroyed" just because they might complain about a bad review. I guess that's the going rate for complaining. Also, this statement alone is Patrick's way of saying, "I won't do anything to stop it if you're attacked. Nor will my staff do anything either."

And he thinks authors are going to sign up for this?

Secondly, I think myself and STGRB has shown on multiple occasions where an authors reputation was "destroyed" despite the fact that the author never complained about bad reviews. To wit; the reason I was banned had nothing at all to do with me complaining about bad reviews. Nor was it the reason for author John Reeves. Here is his response to Patrick Brown's KDP newsletter and the Goodreads Author Program guidelines.

So, you see Patrick Brown, your lies won't float here. Nor will your misinformation tactics. The cold hard truth is, you allow bullies to run your site, and attack authors for ANY reason. The fact that you post such a threat in your "guidelines" to authors, warning them of the consequences you allow to their reputations says it all plain as day. And let's face it, basically, that's pretty much what you're saying.

The Goodreads ship is taking on water. It is slowly beginning to sink. We are at the beginning of the end for Goodreads. I think that's fairly conclusive after my earlier post showing the Alexa rankings decline for Goodreads and Amazon Kindle Forum Boards just this year alone. Trust me Patrick Brown, your pathetic begging and pleading to authors to join your program for the sake of risking being targeted by your bully friends and staff isn't going to fix your problems.

Get up off your knees boy!

Everyone who has been keeping up with this story and everyone who stumbles across it on this blog and STGRB and other sites, will see the truth. And FYI Patrick, you can bet your bottom dollar that I and STGRB and others will continue to spread the word about the truth where Goodreads and Amazon is concerned.

Warning to authors: Goodreads will ruin your career more than it will help it.

Here's another response to the KDP newsletter. Check it out.

Right you are Lloyd! It's always about the money for Patrick Brown, Goodreads, and Amazon, isn't it? And I don't blame you one bit for leaving Goodreads due to the infestation of evil people that Patrick, GR and Amazon allows to roam on their websites. No decent human being wants any part of that crap. And this is why you see them fighting tooth and nail to save their financial asses. It's just too bad for them that their feeble attempts to convince authors to join up is going in vain. The truth is already out there for the masses to see for themselves.

While I understand Patrick's position, I still give him the "Wag of the Finger" award for his tactics. I mean, come on Patrick, if you can't be honest with people, how can you expect to be honest with yourself? Shame on you for trying to lure innocent and unsuspecting authors onto your website of hate. How dare you invite authors to have their careers and reputations "destroyed" in the process. You could be Satan's right hand man in Hell when your time comes. It's one thing to allow your bully friends and staff to do the horrible things you allow them to do to authors in the first place, but it's something altogether more sinister when you invite potential victims to sign up for it.

Get up off your knees, boy!

I'm Carroll Bryant .... and this is The Looking Glass.

Things We Learned Today:

* Patrick Brown is trying to recruit victims onto his website of hate

* Amazon and Goodreads still don't get it

* Attacks on authors on Goodreads and Amazon has nothing to do with "bad reviews"

Goodreads: What's The Purpose?

I stumbled onto a very interesting link not too long ago that raised the question: "What's The Purpose Of Goodreads?"

The question was asked on the "Linked In" website by a woman named Josie. And in the nine days following her question, she got 134 responses. Interestingly enough, most of those responses were negative. About 90% percent. People who said things such as, "There is no purpose, Goodreads is infected with bullies." And responses that were similar.

But Josie raises a very good question. I mean, here is a lady well into her golden years who has not been a member of Goodreads and now, she hears about them but before going there to start an account blindly, she asks others for their input about what Goodreads is all about. There's certainly nothing wrong with that, is there?

I just happen to find it interesting that so many people who responded, did so without hesitation and, to top it off, had something negative to say about the place. Obviously, with so many negative responses regarding Goodreads, Josie ended up posting a response declaring something to the effect that Goodreads didn't sound like her cup of tea.

Good call Josie.

You see, here is the truth; Goodreads has deteriorated a lot since I joined back in the Spring of 2011.

What? You don't believe me? Okay, fair enough. I tell you what, instead of taking my word for it, how about we check the facts, okay? But first, listen to this - when I first joined Goodreads, it was ranked globally on the "Alexa" rankings in the top 150 websites on the internet.

One hundred and fifty!

That was back in the Spring of 2011. At one point, I saw it crack the top 100. Fast forward to now. I took another look at Goodreads "Alexa" rankings and was stunned. Let me repeat this, I was STUNNED! to see that it had fallen all the way to 326 globally!

That's one hell of a drop. Check it out.

The first question that comes to mind is - "What happened?"

The answer is simple.

People have caught on to bully shenanigans. That's my belief. It was bad enough when the Goodreads bullies  were only targeting Indie authors, but ever since they started targeting reviewers, who review bully authors books poorly, they have opened a whole new can of worms that not even Amazon will be able to close unless they come to understand that for as long as the Goodreads bullies are allowed to roam their site and get people banned like they do, Goodreads will continue to sink further down the charts and eventually, end up in the sewer. And so will their investment.

It's really just a matter of commonsense deduction. When the bullies get authors banned after attacking them, those authors friends and fans see it. When these bullies attack reviewers and get them banned as well, their friends on their friends list see this too. Then of course, STGRB or myself reports on it and even more people see this. The end result? People become afraid to participate on Goodreads for fear of being targeted by these bullies and having their accounts deleted. Let's face it, nobody wants to invest their time on a website where eventually, they run a good chance of being targeted by the bullies and then they have no choice other than to sit back and watch all of their hard work get wiped away just because the bullies didn't agree with their review of one of their bully authors books.

Even worse, no legit reader/reviewer is going to want to unknowingly become a fan or like a book of an author that was placed on the bullies shit list and then that reader gets targeted by the bullies and harassed, called a sock puppet and then eventually banned.

And this is why I believe that finally, the Goodreads bullies have now hurt Goodreads bottom line. But is Amazon seeing this yet? Are they paying attention? Proof positive that once your reputation goes to the shitter, it's hard to clean it back up.

This next shot shows how Goodreads has dropped 3 spots just from the previous reporting date. Take a look.

For a site like Goodreads, that means something. It is a trend. A trend that has been going on for a while now. It is losing its steam. And Maybe three spots isn't panic time, but when those three spots add up month after month, you end up going from a top 100, 150 website to not even a top 300 website.

I know what you're thnking; "Patrick Brown says everything is fine, Carroll. Goodreads has 20 million members."

Okay, but if Gooodreads has 20 million members then how is it that they can't even break the top 300 in websites? Especially when they were top 150 with 10 million members? You see, there is no point in having 20 million members if only a few hundred thousand actively participating. And when Patrick Brown says that the bullying on Goodreads is only one percent of the membership, he fails to tell you that only 3 percent of members are actively participating. This equates to 1/3 of active members bullying the other 2/3. (That's 33 % by the way)

Next you might be asking, "How can Goodreads be failing with 20 million members?" - A very good question indeed. Now here is how it happens.

Think about it, when people join a website, they go through a lot of shit that they have to do in order to get the best experience from it. But when you join and look around and decide, "This isn't for me." then how often do people delete their profile? The answer is very few. For the most part, many people don't even know they can delete their profile. Some people may know about it, but don't know how to do it, and honestly, who is going to spend an hour learning how to delete your profile when if you decide you don't want to be a part of it anymore, it's a lot quicker to just click 'sign-out" and forget about it.

So you see, there may be 20 million members, but how many of those accounts are inactive? Well, I have a theory. I do believe that if Goodreads were to delete all accounts inactive for at least six months, you will lose about 60 percent of membership. (Maybe more) We're talking about losing 12 million members here.

And if Goodreads decided to delete all accounts inactive for at least a year, about 40 percent of memberships would be gone. (8 million) And then I think that if Gooodreads deleted all accounts inactive for up to three years, then at least 25 percent of membership would be lost. (5 million)

But guess what? Goodreads doesn't do that. This is why that 20 million membership number carries no meaning. It's a fraudulent number. It's just a shiny penny to dangle in front of the media. The point is, what's the purpose for 20 million members if only a handful of them are even participating?

Then you might ask, "Then why does Patrick Brown tell us that everything is fine?" - Well, because that's his job. What do you think he's going to say? "Hey everyone, we have 20 million members, we're awesome! But only three percent of them (or less) even bother to participate. We suck."

Of course he's not going to say that. It's his job to paint a pretty picture and blow smoke up your ass, hoping that you don't see the truth.

Then there is the sexual role play scandal that I revealed on February 1st of 2013. How many parents were alarmed about that? ... Plenty! And of course Patrick Brown came out publicly acting like this was the first time he ever heard of this and was so, so concerned about it. But as we later learned, and I had posted and showed as well as STGRB, Patrick Brown knew about it for several years. He simply chose to turn a blind eye. When people saw this, they knew he was a liar. They knew their kids weren't safe from on-line sexual predators on Goodreads. And what did these concerned parents do? They took their child off the site. And many of them probably didn't bother deleting the accounts, they probably just had them sign off and then blocked GR from the computer with parental controls.

Then there was the bullies, Patrick's friends, coming out and saying that my report and evidence, and that shown on STGRB was false. However, many of you went there to GR and saw for yourselves the truth. This probably hurt Bully Nation's credibility the most. Now, not only were these bullies bullying authors, but they were putting kids at risk by trying to convince parents that it wasn't true. How many parents fell for their lies? You know there had to be some who did. But the evidence showed otherwise.

I think this also contributed to Goodread's decline.

But guess what? Goodreads isn't the only one hurting here. Back when I joined up with Amazon Kindle Boards, it was ranked in the top 100,000 globally. Now let's take a look at where it stands today. (Shot taken in July 2013)

It has dropped over 190,000 spots since its last reporting date.

It would stand to reason, seeing how the Amazon bullies/trolls also run rampant there too.

So what does this all mean in the long run? It means, allowing bullies and trolls to run the show will hurt your bottom line. That's what it means. It also means that Amazon is in some big financial trouble if they don't do something about these bullies/trolls. It also means that the public has caught on to what Goodreads and Amazon are really all about.

I think Amazon has about a three to five year advantage over Goodreads. Meaning, in about 3 to 5 years, we're going to see Goodreads dropping 190,000 spots in the rankings. After all, the bullying from the trolls has been going on longer and is far worse there on Amazon than on Goodreads. This means that Amazon Forums had a head-start. And if Amazon higher ups don't address this issue on Goodreads like they failed to address it on their Forums Boards, GR will be right behind them. The changes needed are not only to get rid of these bullies/trolls, but to change their review policy. No legitimate reader is going to spend 30 minutes on their review just to see the bullies and trolls attack it, report it and Amazon, delete it. You eliminate the very reason why you have a book review forum in the first place. And trust me, there are more legitimate readers and reviewers out there than there are bullies and trolls. But Amazon has allowed the wrong element run the show for so long, the good people are simply leaving. They are leaving but not all of them are deleting their accounts. They're just simply walking away.

Are you seeing this Patrick Brown? Do you see what your bully friends are doing to your website? Better yet, are you Amazon executives seeing this? It just goes to show that BULLYING doesn't pay. Instead, it hurts your image, your reputation, your book sales, and obviously, your rankings. And while it may not show in your membership count, then please explain to all of us how you can have 20 million members and still not even crack the top 300 rankings?

IT'S UNHEARD OF!

The message is being sent loud and clear that people do not want to participate on websites that allow, condone, endorse, promote, encourage or turn a blind eye to cyber-bullying. This is what people like Angela Horn, Jude Henderson, Ade, Belle, Mrs. Joseph, Rick Gualtieri, Elly Helcl, H.J. Leonard, and those who are like them and or support them, do to bottom lines. But I'm not saying it's all "Bully Nation's" fault. People like them and their bully pals were given the keys to the asylum by people like Patrick Brown. It's his responsibility to ensure that all members of Goodreads are afforded the opportunity to have a pleasant experience on GR, and that the ToS is distributed fairly, evenly and appropriately instead of Willy Nilly like they do, only to protect the bullies. When you don't don't protect the good people then the good people protect themselves. They protect themselves by not going to Goodreads like they used too. They protect themselves by leaving. And that's what's going on. This is why Goodreads is fading away. This is why three to five years after Amazon Forums disappear, GR will be disappearing too.

This kind of fall also hurts advertising. Let's face it, everybody wants an ad on a top 100 or even top 150 website that is on the move. Very few want to spend their money on a website that isn't even in the top 300 and is sinking fast. It's like the Titanic. When the Titanic first set sail on her maiden voyage, everybody wanted to ride her. But when she struck the bully iceberg and started sinking, everybody wanted to get the fuck off. Then there was the captain, Patrick Brown, calling for the ship's band to play classical music while telling everyone who was knee deep in water that, "Everything is going to be all right."

One thing is for certain, if I were running the show, I would be very concerned about these falling numbers. It would be enough for me to start making some major changes and overhauls. The first thing I would start with is making sure that these bullies and their libelous attacks on authors and other reviewers are put in their proper place. They would be history. I would be working real hard to let the people know that bullying would no longer be tolerated or allowed on my website. People like Angela Horn, Ade, Belle, Mrs. Joseph, and the like, would be gone! There's just no room for people like them on a website. They only stir up trouble and cause pain to others. They destroy, not build. They infect your site with fear and hate. Good people won't tolerate this. Good people aren't because the good people are leaving. The numbers show this.

I'll keep an eye on this situation in the future. We'll revisit this issue in about six months and see where things stand then. Will it get better? Or will the numbers tell the tale of another Roman Empire collapsing in on itself? There still might be time to turn it around, but if things don't change and I mean, change fast, then Goodreads will be just another victim of the Goodreads and Amazon bullies/trolls.

There's a reason why bullies live on the bad side of town. There's a reason why good people avoid the bad side of town. There are more good people in this world than there are bad. I believe this! And there is a reason why good people are now avoiding Goodreads and Amazon Kindle Forum Boards. It's because they have now become the bad side of town.

What is the purpose of Goodreads? Amazon Kindle Forum Boards? ... Absolutely nothing. There is no purpose anymore. Except to be attacked by their gang of thug bullies. Who wants to sign up for that? Certainly not me. And looking at the numbers, I'm not the only one.

I'm Carroll Bryant .... and this is The Looking Glass.

Things We Learned Today:

* Goodreads is falling in the ranks

* Amazon Kindle Forum Boards is falling faster

* Bullies are now hurting GR amd Amazon's bottom line

* Titanic is a good movie

* All we are saying .... is give peace a chance

UPDATE:

Interestingly enough, after I had this post written and ready to go, I stumbled onto this comment by TinaNicole on Goodreads. It is obvious, TinaNicole is one of the "smart" ones of "Bully Nation".

NOT!

Take a gander.

Obviously, she is taking the democratic approach to the unemployment figures released recently showing 7.4 percent. Not realizing that one million people stopped collecting unemployment benefits and have given up looking for a job. And that 70 percent of the new jobs "created" were part-time jobs or people in full time jobs downgraded to part time. (This is how I associate the GR membership numbers)

So TinaNicole, I see you and the rest of Bully Nation are bragging about Goodreads and their 20 million members? Then perhaps with all your wisdom *sarcasm* you would be the one who can explain why a website like GR and it's 20 million plus members can't even rank in the top 300 of the Alexa rankings? And falling? And can you explain the 190,000 position drop by Amazon Forum Boards? ...... TinaNicole? ...... Are you there? ...... Hello)))))))))) ..... Yeah, didn't think you were very bright. Not many of the bullies are. LOL

You see folks, this is what I have been saying all along, the bullies never do their research. They just spew off at the mouth as they go. They really haven't a clue. But there is someone out there who does have a clue and that is author G.L. Briggs. And she tries her best to educate TinaNicole but with little to no success. (Okay, to no success.) Check it out.

You are so right G.L. Briggs. You hit the nail right on the head. And notice that G.L. didn't need to read my post to know this. This is because she does her homework. She knows the deal. These comments were posted before this post was released. Once again, "Bully Nation" was put in their place. This post and the facts presented clearly supports G.L.'s comments, and makes yet again, the bullies into the fools that they are. And another reason added to why you just can't trust a single thing that comes out of their mouths. Good call G.L. Briggs, good to see that you get it. That you know the truth and that you - unlike the bullies - do your homework. And while I applaud your effort to educate the bullies, perhaps this post will assist in that department. Maybe you should leave a link for them to this post to further educate TinaNicole on the facts you described to her. I still doubt she will learn anything, as learning is not a bully strong suit. However, proving their lies is still fun, so feel free to shut them up with this post. Then again, even when presented with the facts, the bullies still maintain residence next to the river of denial. My GR sexual role play article is proof of that. They still don't think that stuff takes place on GR.
